Privacy Policy

Remjet is developed, owned, and operated by StudioTHM ("Remjet", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy applies to the Remjet iOS app, remjet.app, Remjet's ChatGPT integration and Model Context Protocol ("MCP") service, and related support services.

Information We Process

The information we process depends on the Remjet features you choose to use:

• Account and authentication data: Remjet account ID, email address, display name, username, profile image, authentication provider, sign-in records, and OAuth session information. If you use Apple or Google sign-in, we receive the profile information you authorize those providers to share. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.
• Profile and community data: Bio, website, social handles, profile photo, account role, follower and following relationships, community contributions, comments, saves, reports, notification preferences, and related timestamps.
• Saved-place and location data: Pin and place identifiers, names, descriptions, categories, precise latitude and longitude, addresses, website URLs, phone numbers, visit status, photos you choose to upload, publication or moderation status, save and comment counts, and creation or update timestamps.
• Lists and collaboration data: List identifiers, names, descriptions, visibility settings, pin membership and counts, owner or collaborator role, collaborator invitations, and creation or update timestamps.
• Creative project data: Photo, video, collage, and timeline project settings and metadata, including edits, project structure, local asset references, and timestamps. Original photo and video editing is performed on your device. Remjet uploads media only when you choose a feature that requires an upload, such as a profile image or community post. Signed-in project metadata may be synced to Supabase so it is available to your account.
• Purchase and subscription data: Product, entitlement, subscription status, and transaction-verification information supplied through Apple's StoreKit. Apple processes payment-card details; Remjet does not receive full payment-card information.
• Device, analytics, and diagnostic data: Remjet account ID and email, authentication provider, app version, device and operating-system information, feature interactions, subscription status, network and request metadata, crash and performance information, security events, and server or edge-function logs. Backend error details may be kept in restricted diagnostic logs; they are not intentionally returned through the ChatGPT integration.
• Communications: Information you include in support requests, feedback, feature requests, surveys, or other messages to us.
• Notifications: Push-notification device token and notification preferences if you enable notifications.

ChatGPT and MCP Integration

If you connect Remjet to ChatGPT, OpenAI processes your prompts and the tool results needed to answer them under OpenAI's own terms and privacy policy. Remjet receives an authenticated tool request and uses your Remjet account ID to access only data available to your account.

To maintain the connection, Remjet's OAuth service issues ChatGPT an access token and may provide the basic identity fields authorized by the openid, profile, and email scopes, such as account ID, email address, name, username, or profile image. ChatGPT uses the token to authenticate requests to Remjet.

Depending on the tool you ask ChatGPT to use, Remjet may return the following fields to ChatGPT:

• Pin results: Pin ID, name, description, latitude, longitude, category, status, address, website URL, visited status, creation time, and calculated distance from the search point.
• List results: List ID, name, description, visibility, owner or collaborator role, pin count, and creation and update times.
• Action results: Confirmation messages and counts for pins or lists created, added, or skipped.

Remjet does not intentionally return your email address, OAuth token, profile record, uploaded photos, phone number, internal database fields, or raw backend error details through its MCP tools. You can disconnect Remjet from ChatGPT through your ChatGPT connection settings and revoke the Remjet session through your Remjet account or identity-provider settings.

How We Use Information

• Provide authentication, syncing, editing, scouting, community, collaboration, subscription, support, and ChatGPT integration features.
• Return the specific Remjet data requested through an authenticated MCP tool call and carry out actions you request.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability and product performance.
• Send service, account, support, and product communications where permitted by your settings and applicable law.
• Comply with law and enforce our terms.

Service Providers and Disclosures

We disclose information only as needed to operate Remjet, at your direction, or when legally required. Our service providers include:

• Supabase: Authentication, database, storage, and edge-function hosting.
• Apple and Google: Sign-in services; Apple also provides StoreKit payments and Apple Push Notification service.
• PostHog: Product analytics. Remjet may associate analytics with account ID, email, authentication provider, app version, feature events, and subscription status. Session replay is disabled in the current app configuration.
• OpenAI: ChatGPT processes prompts and receives Remjet MCP tool results only when you connect and use the integration.
• Featurebase and email-service providers: Feedback, feature requests, support, and service or product communications you request or are eligible to receive.

We may also disclose information to protect users or Remjet, comply with legal obligations, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Storage, Retention, and Security

Account and synced content are generally kept while your account is active or until you delete the content or account. Some records may be retained longer when needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or backup integrity. Service providers may retain logs under their own documented schedules. We use access controls, encrypted transport, row-level authorization, and other reasonable safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices and Rights

You may update profile and content information in Remjet, revoke photo-library or notification permissions in iOS Settings, disconnect the ChatGPT integration, and delete your Remjet account from the app. You may also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, subject to applicable law.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, appeal a decision, or complain to a data-protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

International Data Transfers

Remjet and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Children's Privacy

Remjet is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Remjet changes. We will post the revised date here and provide additional notice when required.
